1. Perfect Timing; we may have never had Linsanity as we know it.
Who is to say that without Carmelo Anthony & Amarie Staudimire out that Lin would have been able to have those break out, team on shoulder, confidence building run with no one but himself to seal the deal at take control of the game?  The fact the he had the opportunity to elevate himself to that position from the first start of the 5 game stretch gives us this captivating story line in a somewhat dismal lock ridden season.  Lin's arrival is extremely reminiscent of Ichiro's Suzuki's unparalleled start to his US baseball career. Both players were seasoned veterans of another league, taking the US league by storm.

2. Fundamentals; Linsanity is not dunking over every player on the floor.  He is executing every single play with unflappable fundamentals.  Even when having an off performance due to exhaustion his fundamentals allow him to be in the correct position on nearly every play.

3. Upside; Not only is Lin a fundamentally excellent player, who just happened to get the opportunity to lead his team to 6 straight victories, but he is only getting better.  His teammates are back and healthy.  Amarie Staudemire, Tyson Chandler, & Carmelo Anthony are very dangerous to play against, but if you put Linsanity into the mix King James may have to wait to get his first championship trophy.
